I am working on the About us page for something and this is what came to me. While the page isn’t finished, I had to share it.
“Hey,
I know you were probably expecting to come here and find the story of how Oddthentics came to be.
But honestly?
I couldn’t find the words.
Because Oddthentics isn’t another heartless brand, trying to shape you in its image while chasing a trend.
I couldn’t find the words because Oddthentics isn’t a story.
It’s a place.
A memory.
A moment.
A movement.
It’s a place to begin, to remember, and to return.
Bring it all with you — who you were, who you are, and who you are still becoming.
Because at Oddthentics, we meet you where you are, and walk beside you only as far as you can go.
No forcing. No rushing. No fixing.
Just being — together.
So, if you’ve ever felt like you were a question to the world,
maybe you are.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re too much, not enough, or everything in between
this place is for you.
For the misfits.
The wonderfully weird.
The responsibly spontaneous.
The chaotically clean.
The energetically calm.
The oddthentic as hell.
Because all of us deserve a place to be held and to hold.
To stay.
To be stayed for.
Even when it gets hard.
Even when it gets weird.
Even when all we want is what we’ve always been willing to give:
someone to stay long enough for the real us to emerge.
And if you’re not ready yet… that’s okay.
You still have a place here, beside us.
Until then,
we’ll keep the lanterns lit.”
